IntelliCooking is an independent recipe portal dedicated to making authentic dishes from around the world clear, reliable and accessible in multiple languages.

Through Eleias Medien, Tobias Leckeband runs web projects around AI and content. IntelliCooking grew out of a passion for international cuisine and the wish to offer recipes with real origin research instead of arbitrary copy-paste.
Our mission
Over 5,900 recipes from 50 countries – each with nutrition facts, step-by-step instructions and, where possible, an origin story backed by sources. The goal is a portal you can trust while cooking.
How we research recipes
We combine careful sourcing with modern technology – transparently and verifiably:
- Origin and authenticity are checked against reliable sources (incl. Wikipedia, the EU geo-protection register eAmbrosia, UNESCO World Heritage lists).
- Nutrition is calculated from the ingredients, not estimated.
- AI assists with research, translation and structuring – every factual statement is verified against sources, not simply generated.
- All content is available in German, English, Spanish and French.
Transparency
Images come, where possible, from open-source collections (e.g. Wikimedia Commons) with license attribution. Where a recipe has no suitable photo yet, we show a neutral placeholder instead of a misleading image. Spotted a mistake? Let us know – we're happy to fix it.
